SPAGHETTI PORN represents a well-established section of contemporary Italian pornographic works, selected annually by HPFF. Far from clichés, this collection debunks the Italian stereotype suggested by its name, offering a rich diversity of reinterpretations of sexuality and desire. We will present independent and enterprising works that transcend customary and political barriers, revealing a vibrant creative ferment.

ON PHOTOGRAPHY by Helena Falabino. “For this video performance I imagined an exhibition in which my works are finally printed on cakes, which are perishable but very meaningful objects; […] while writing my thesis in semiotics on queer pornography, I came across a fetish called cake sitting that immediately inspired me” (Helena Falabino). On Photography is a reflection that goes beyond the pure concept, transforming the approach to art into a sensual, ironic and sensorial experience; only the artist has the right to sit on the works, but the public is invited to eat them directly from the artist’s body.
KISS by Baccanti. A short film about female autoeroticism. A woman prepares herself in front of a mirror, kissing her own reflection. Bacchae is a duo formed by a libertine couple. Dancer and performer she, photographer and videomaker he. Baccanti comes from a background of erotic photography and art studies.
SEX AS WILL AND REPRESENTATION by Silvia Marcantoni Taddei. Let us borrow Schopenhauer’s words: 2 partners have 1 consensual will and 1 cell phone + 1 mirror to get the right representation. Silvia is lying on the floor in an empty room. Massimo performs oral sex on her until she reaches orgasm. The whole process is filmed from the point of view of Silvia, the director herself, thanks to a smartphone and the help of a mirror.
IGNAVI (A TALE FROM SLEEPING CLOSE) by Giulio Pereno. Two inner worlds separated by a closed door: on one side a woman whose hidden malaise radiates radiation on everything around her, on the other darkness. Between the two rooms only an abyss of misunderstanding and incommunicability.

Obsessions, identifications, fantasies, catharsis – something not far from what happens to us when we read or listen to a love poem. The video poem is part of a project curated by Monosportiva Galli Dal Pan and was filmed between Italy and Argentina with the participation of sex workers – because Sex Work Is Work!
