BLASPHEMIES FROM THE WORLD by Hogre, 20′
Blasphemies from the World is a television program dedicated to heresy at every level. Host Helena Velena introduces the audience to Pastafarianism and its spiritual leader Scialatiella Piccante I. Scialatiella’s misadventures, documented by Helena and her crew, highlight the similarities between blasphemy uttered in Italy and Poland. Indeed, Pastafarians are prosecuted as blasphemers in both European countries. A new instance by the Vatican, however, could mark a turning point in the history of blasphemy, with its eventual decriminalization.
