About us

Hacker Porn Film Festival was born in Rome from the idea of Fran Stable (producer of Porn to be Free, documentary by Carmine Amoroso) and Lucio Massa (producer of indie porn films like Beyond Madness and Undercover Mistress) as an independent and self-produced project, with the collaboration and participation of various artists, performers and activists who work together to give life to the event. The first edition of the festival took place from April 26th to April 30th, 2017 at the film club Il Kino. After that, Trenta Formiche began to collaborate with the HPFF and has been hosting the event every year since then.

Hacker Porn brings to Rome the best selection of kinky, weird, post-porn and queer cinema.

We hack and destabilize expectations of what is considered exciting, obscene, inconvenient, and secret. HPFF is a completely independent and self-funded event, created to give value and visibility to independent and DIY productions, making bodies, sexuality and subversion of the norm new subjects of investigation. We are constantly looking for innovative and compelling projects that explore the most subversive post-pornographic art. The festival is a great opportunity for artists, performers, activists and audiences to come together to explore and discuss the latest trends in pornography through the medium of film, visual, and performance art. It is an amazing platform for everyone to showcase their work, exchange ideas and pleasures.
