This section represents a statement: porn is political. It encompasses a wide range of perspectives, from Brazil to Turkey, from Finland to France and Germany, challenging the boundaries of political and cultural norms, disrupting patriarchal structures, and reclaiming pleasure.
18:00 – SHORTS – AORTA x EDIY, 51′
AORTA and EDIY are two queer collectives that through their films represent sexuality in an experimental and DIY key, giving space to a broad spectrum of identities and bodies. Expect an unconventional selection that includes unusual dentists, clowns, vampires and ritualistic moments.

A selection of porn shorts dealing with gay history and culture: famous cruising spots, vintage porn magazines, old propaganda films, in a melancholic voyage between personal and collective stories.

Following last year’s success of the retrospective of NO SKIN OFF MY ASS, this year we welcome as a guest the producer and director of that very film and many others, as well as the founder of the Pornfilmfestival Berlin (PFFB), Jürgen Brüning! THE RASPBERRY REICH is a 2004 film by director Bruce LaBruce which explores what LaBruce calls “terrorist chic”, cult dynamics, and the “innate radical potential of homosexual expression”. A left-wing terrorist group, consisting of several homosexual men and a female leader, kidnaps the son of a wealthy industrialist.

Porn and surreal, fantastic, dystopian tales. Alice Scornajenghi challenges our idea of pornography in the most delightfully entertaining way, transporting us to alternate universes, alien planets, and miraculous rooms where sexual fantasies come to life. People will speak mainly in Italian.
21:00 – TALK – Interview with JÜRGEN BRÜNING + KLAPPE by Jürgen Brüning, 64′
HPFF presents Jürgen Brüning. Producer, filmmaker, curator, and founder of Pornfilmfestival Berlin (2006). Various film productions with Bruce LaBruce, Shu Lea Cheang, Cheryl Dunye, Thunska Pansiitivorakul. Co-founder of the gay porn production companies Cazzo Film (1995) and Wurstfilm (2003). An evening dedicated to his person and legacy, in which we will show Klappe, in competition at HPFF24, and Pralle Lederhosen (1997). In Klappe, Brüning boldly mixes and reuses clips from his filmmaking career. The result is a video essay about queer identity. Various political themes are woven into this story, creating a mixture of music and rebellion against authority and social conventions.
