For the award for BEST INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM there is an EX AEQUO. The two films we chose are very different. One is longer, while the other is shorter. One is more elaborate, while the other is more immediate. One is based on construction, while the other is based on deconstruction. But they are both HACKER, they are both porn, and above all, they are both political. Therefore, they seemed to us to be the right choice for this award.

It discusses a topic that is always too little explored, like the sexuality of older adults. And it does so from a perspective of encounters with queer individuals, polyamorous relationships, and without dwelling on nostalgia for youth and young bodies.

BIG SUR GAY PORN by Ryan A White
For having brought to light a forgotten page of gay history, doing so with nostalgia but also self-irony.
BEST ITALIAN SHORT FILM
SBORRAGE by GUILTY OF ROMANCE STUDIO
For its ability to ludicrously subvert—and thus question—certain trends that reevaluate the obscene solely in the artistic realm. For its sarcastic suggestion to take oneself less seriously and get more aroused. A mockumentary that reclaims the pornographic and the explicit by showcasing the faces and bodies of the Italian porno guerrilla.
SPECIAL MENTION – ITALIAN SHORT FILM
BLACK HOLE PANTHER by Diego Tigrotto
We want to award this special mention to the short film primarily because it is the most explicit in this section of SPAGHETTI, but also for the disruptive irony that always characterizes Tigrotto’s work, and for his ability to always personally engage, in this dual role of director and performer.

IT’S NEVER ONE-SIDED by Kiki Kazimi
Can a short be so simple and so titillating at the same time? So romantic and so sensual? This short has the NO-BORDER immediacy we were looking for and its title is IT’S NEVER ONE-SIDED by Kiki Kazimi.

Fucking Conflicts is a reality that we like to support, and INPUT ERROR II is maybe their most ambitious and artistically complex project to date, we can’t wait to know more about this queer dystopia.

Michele Capozzi was a great discoverer of talent, and the work of this collective struck us straight away, so much so that we decided to propose a 48h to them. They are the KOLLEKTIV 14, and the film CAR LOVE is the debut we want to reward.
